Training format: Full-time.
Training objectives: The objectives
of the training are to familiarize with
cryogenic treatment methods
and their
application in various
fields of medicine by specialists
of both therapeutic and
surgical profiles; a detailed
analysis of the cryosurgical treatment method
and its
application in the treatment
of various diseases; combinations
of cryosurgical method with
other treatment
methods and its
application in high-tech
medical care; development
of cryosurgical treatment skills with
the formation of the ability and
willingness to use this
method for the treatment
of various neoplasms of the skin and
mucous membranes, for
high-quality and timely
patient care.
Venue: Moscow, Proletarsky Prospekt, Building 1.
Cost: 4.000 rubles.
Time of the event: Individual consultation sessions are held on Saturdays, from
11.00 to 15.30, by prior arrangement with surgical oncologist
V.V. Korsun.
Sessions last 4 hours, with a coffee break (30 min.).

The class will be taught by surgical oncologist and
cryosurgeon V.V. Korsun, a participant in the annual international
congresses
of the Japanese Society of Low-Temperature Medicine.
PROGRAM CONTENT:
Theoretical section:
- Historical background;
- Biological and physical aspects of cryomedicine – cryogenic
treatment
(cryotherapy and cryosurgery) and cryopreservation;
- Fundamentals of cryotherapy: general and local
aerocryotherapy, areas of
application of the cryotherapeutic method, examples of aerocryotherapy
application, cryocosmetology;
- Fundamentals of Cryopreservation;
- Fundamentals of Cryosurgery: types of cryosurgical
treatment;
indications and contraindications for cryosurgical treatment,
advantages and
possible side effects of cryosurgical treatment, possibilities and
prospects
for the development of cryosurgical treatment.
Practical part:
- Cryodestruction of superficial neoplasms: various types of
cryosurgical
treatment are mastered (cryospeial, cryoapplication, microwave
cryodestruction,
cryo-quantum methods, cryodestruction with immunomodulatory therapy),
treatment
of the main nosological units is analyzed (based on photo and video
materials), much attention is paid to the cryosurgical method
of treatment of both the most common pathology and pathology for which
cryosurgical treatment is etiotropic and pathogenetically justified;
- Cryodestruction and immunomodulation in the treatment of
oncological
diseases and their complicated forms.
During the practical part of the course, doctors become
familiar with
the cryogenic treatment room: the room's equipment and the technical
components
of portable cryosurgical devices using liquid nitrogen (domestic and
foreign).
Doctors are provided with recommendations on
cryosurgical treatment methods and information about companies that
produce
cryogenic treatment equipment and their distributors.
Doctors have the opportunity to personally try
cryotherapy and cryocosmetology, as well as treat up to two of their
patients
with benign superficial tumors, by prior arrangement with surgical
oncologist V.V. Korsun
and by completing the appropriate consent forms (established form,
based on the
order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation): informed voluntary consent for medical intervention
and consent to surgical treatment, as well as agreements for the
provision of medical
services at the Edelweiss Medical and Dental Center.
For out-of-town doctors, there is the opportunity to stay in
a small
hotel – LOFT HOTEL, at the same address as our Edelweiss Medical and
Dental
Center: Moscow, Proletarsky Prospekt, Building 1.
